Everyone I know is saying this, but “I can’t believe it is 2019 already!” My last Mewsletter was written back in October, and I apologize for letting the holiday season derail my efforts to keep you up-to-date with my new art and offerings! Among my resolutions for this coming year are goals to becoming better organized and more productive, too! :)
My family and I didn’t celebrate the season with much fanfare, but we are always thankful for the support of my customers. 2018 blessed me once again with a successful Kickstarter (the 2019 Literary Cats Calendars are here!) and several wonderful opportunities to meet new cat lovers and reconnect with my favorite humans. :)
Since I didn’t have any special deals leading up to Christmas, I’ve decided to run a small January sale (through 1/10, midnight, Eastern time) with some big savings! Original paintings, archival prints, and calendars, too, will be marked 30% OFF their regular prices! Magnets, bookmarks, and greeting cards are all 10% off as well.

New Artwork =^,,^=
In late October, I finished this Lewis Carroll/Alice in Wonderland inspired portrait, “Alice & the Cheshire Dog”. She is an 8″x10″ acrylic painting on a gallery-wrapped canvas. She is available for purr-chase here.
In November, I finished four additional 5″x7″ portraits for the 2019 Literary Cats Calendar.
“Queen Alice” from Lewis Carroll’s sequel “Through the Looking Glass”. She is holding a teacup with a mouse in it, in reference to these lines in his poem:
“Then fill up the glasses
as quick as you can,
and sprinkle the table
with buttons and bran:
Put cats in the coffee,
and mice in the tea –
and welcome Queen Alice
with thirty-times-three!”
You can purr-chase Queen Alice (already framed) here.
This is “Mrs. Havisham” (from Charles Dickens’ “Great Expectations”) as a hairless Sphinx cat, wearing her wedding dress. She is available to purr-chase and is already framed as well.
Next, a creepy Halloween inspired portrait that I painted for the calendar – this is “Dr. Jekyll”, mixing the potion that will stave off the restless monster within. He is available here.
Finally, I completed a Christmas portrait of “The Nutcracker Prince”. Measuring 5″x7″ on a canvas panel, he is available for purr-chase here.
All of these paintings are listed at 30% OFF – through January 10th! :)
If you are curious to see what’s currently cooking (um, being painted!) in my studio – hop over to Patreon and subscribe to my channel for as little as $1 per month. I am re-organizing my Patreon page as well: there will be new tiers added and a couple other adjustments, and it will become my main place to share early WIPs (work-in-progress) pictures, painting videos, and more Behind the Scenes on a weekly basis! I will continue to share “the Scoop” (e.g. new finished artwork and upcoming events) here in the Mews-Letter each month. :)
I currently have no shows lined up until mid-March. I will be attending the Spring farmer’s market at the Carroll County Ag Center, and I am tentatively looking into another March show as well. I will let you know my spring schedule, as it comes together, in the next Mews-Letter!
Wishing everyone a Happy 2019! =^,,^=
